NO WAY BPA!

This is a great and (so far) very successful initiative in the state of Washington. These high tension power lines threaten much of the tourism in Washington as they will in New Hampshire, cutting through some of the most beautiful areas of the state, like the Mt St. Helens area in the south.  Definitely worth a close look.  No Way BPA!

  1. Love how everyone is complaining about the Northern pass, yet ALL of you go home turn your lights on and watch T.V. Let me ask you morons a question, how do you think you got your power?

  2. You obviously aren't very informed and I feel silly even justifying your poorly thought out comment with a response. BUT, just to be clear, I will. The Northern Pass will NOT be bringing power to any ones lights or TVs in NH. We already have the necessary power in our state to do so. We DO NOT NEED power from Canada. We actually have an energy surplus - which means we use less power than we produce in this State.

The Northern Pass will be taking foreign energy from Canada and bringing it to other states, such as Massachusetts, while destroying the land, tourist economy and much much more in NH.

The same thing that is expected of all Americans is expected of us - Fight for your land.

    And so we do.

But thanks for your great comment! :)

  4. We are the group that's advocating BPA to NOT build a new corridor through the Beautiful SW WA Cascade foothills in the Mt. St Helens area. Unfortunately the No Way BPA group is advocating for BPA to build through our beautiful areas. http://abetterway4bpa.org/

  5. AKA Cheryl Brantley.....Contrary to her assertions, we are advocating the line be built in previously clear cut corporate timberlands away from populated areas. Cheryl is concerned about the health issues associated with EMF only if they are not in her area....It is ok to subject thousands of othr folks to these dangers as long as it is not her.....typical NIMBY. Listen to her testifying before the Clark County Board of Commisssioners at http://abetterway4bpa.com/

    1. The truth has come out and what I said above is true, their acclaimed "unpopulated" route cut through many, many private home sites. They have worked diligently to purposely mislead people. http://couv.com/issues/bpa-rejects-gray-line
Yes, I'm NIMBY and very proud of it. Richard Van Dijk (RvD) doesn't even have a dog in the fight. RvD get a life.
